RED (Sparkles, Babies) : FALL – Homework – Welcome to the Musical Rainbow Program!
For the FALL term the goal is to build a repertoire of songs and positive musical experiences. In the FALL level of the Musical Rainbow Program the children will learn many songs and rhymes, play music games, play instruments, pitch matching and many other fun musical activities.
JOHANN SEBASTIAN BACH
We will now start to listen to the music of JOHANN SEBASTIAN BACH. I would like the children to recognize the famous ‘MINUET IN G’. Please play music by BACH as the children colour their weekly handout.
For the FALL TERM we will be learning about the instruments of the KEYBOARD and STRING FAMILIES.
PETER ILLYCH TCHAIKOVSKY
Through November and December we will be listening to the music of Peter Tchaikovsky. Please access a copy of the NUTCRACKER SUITE and get to know the music. We will be playing Tchaikovsky in the classroom!
